Missouri’s Rock Island Trail would be epic: 144 miles with incredible tunnels and bridges, connecting rural communities across the state. And when complete, it will join up with the iconic Katy Trail to create a sensational 450-mile trail system! But after nearly four years—and nearly 9,000 public comments in support of the trail—state officials still haven’t decided whether to accept a donation of the rail corridor from its current owner.
